Cloth fabric. Sewn up with mesh pocketing and a double turn back hem that
can be let out for an extended inseam or cropped to taste. A gusseted crotch
and two-way stretch ensures major freedom of movement.
At 200gsm, the F. Cloth sews up light, but the air texturized Cordura grade nylon yarns are both strong and soft enough to be a joy to wear every day. A durable water resistant treatment helps keep them clean and dry, allowing you to travel further and lighter. - Fabric
Strong, durable and lightweight. Our F. Cloth is a 200gsm 97% Nylon, 3% Elastane canvas woven in Sweden. Boasting a substantial 35% two-way stretch, F. Cloth is significantly freer than many stretch fabrics. It's lightweight and breathable, while the light DWR and air texturized Cordura grade nylon yarns are both strong and soft enough to be a joy to wear every day.- Details

↗ Lightweight Strength
The core of these pants is a very specific type of nylon, a high tenacity, air texturized nylon 6,6. By using two different 6 carbon monomers (as opposed to the single one used to make regular nylon 6) then subjecting it to an air jet texturizing process during it's extrusion we are able to obtain a nylon that is significantly softer, stronger and more matte in appearance then your average polyamide. In other words a stronger and better looking material that we can use to create lighter and more comfortable garments.
↗ Breathable Movement
Traveling freely means moving freely so, like most all Outlier garments, these pants are engineered for maximum freedom of movement and comfort. Mil-spec mesh pocketing and the F.Cloth fabric's substantive 35% two-way stretch help, but the real secret is in how that stretch combines with a knee length gusseted construction to open up the range of motion.
↗ Loosely tapered towards tomorrow
Roomy up top, with a slightly dropped crotch and substantive thighs. Nicely tapered from the knee down for a clean look and with a double turn back hem that allows a tailor to easily lengthen or crop them for a dialed in fit.
↗ Substantive enough to wear year round
The fabric may be relatively light but this is a substantive pant, made from the best materials for the job. The F.Cloth fabric is woven in Sweden. The poly slot button formed in Italy. The zipper, thread and pocketing all proudly made in the USA. All cut and sewn together in New York City.
