Story

Three layers of wool from three continents united to make a damn good looking trim and lightweight vest. The outer face is a beautiful tweed merino from a 175+ year old mill in England that's known for its excellent craftsmanship. Lining the vest is a classic soft 18.9 micron merino knit from New Zealand. Sandwiched between is Ramtect wool insulation, made in America with 100% American wool. Nature’s finest performance fabric, inside and out.

Less voluminous, more breathable and a lighter weight than our previous vests, the Triple Wool Vest is intended to have a lighter level of insulation. Perfectly sized to wear over, under or between layers to dial in comfort. A metal Excella zip, hand-warming front pockets and a magnetically secured rear reach around pocket round it all out.

Fabric

For the outer face we chose a tweed merino from the 175+ year old Abraham Moon mill in Yorkshire, England, known for its classic natural fibers and excellent craftsmanship. At 350gsm, it's durable, warm and damn good looking.

The inner layer is a superfine 18.9 micron merino knit from New Zealand, for a beautiful soft feel and merino's incredible moisture and odor management properties.

Sandwiched between is Hobbs Bonded Fibers’s Ramtect, an innovative wool insulation made in America with 100% American wool. Lightweight and thin, Ramtect offers wool warmth with less bulk.
