Story

An experimental button-front midlayer in the soft, tough, and warm Strongwaffle Knit. Button close side-seam-pocket and internal drop pocket on the wearers left plus two chest pockets.

Fabric

A waffle knit up so strong it pretty much becomes a heavy rib. Merino(38%), nylon(50%), polyester(11%), and elastane(1%) are combined in a complex waffle construction to make a soft, strong, warm, and tough knit fabric. Visually it looks more like a rib or even a corduroy. When worn it feels like a waffle though: stretchy, warm, and breathable. The substantive wool content keeps it warm and dry, the nylon keeps it tough, and the poly and elastane keep it nice and compact. Close to the body it’s a seriously robust base layer, further away it's a rugged yet comfortable midlayer.
