Story

An experimental expandable cross chest bag in our Doubledyneema Alien Skin fabric. The compact mode fits similar to many hip bags, but the expanded mode is big enough to eat a laptop (although it’s hard to believe until you do it.)

Fabric

Dyneema strength meets Dyneema composite stability. A nonwoven composite of Dyneema brand ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), the world’s strongest fiber. Nonwoven Dyneema fiber is bonded to BoPET in Mesa Arizona, using their proprietary process, to create a waterproof fabric with almost no stretch at all. With the Double Dyneema Composite the nonwoven composite is then bonded to an outerface of woven 220 denier, dope dyed black, Dyneema canvas. The result is a composite fabric that is super light, super strong and super durable. It looks and ages like an alien leather of sorts, and is cool to the touch with a surprising pliability. It’s slightly lighter and significantly more durable than Ultrahigh Dyneema Composite.
