A pleated pant experiment in the open yet tough Open Wool fabric. Wool and nylon 6,6 are combined to create a ruggedly elegant fabric with an incredible airflow.

Fabric

Italian wool expertise twisted up with nylon 6,6 performance to create a powerful new fabric. The Open Wool begins with a new yarn that intimately blends a high grade suiting wool with air-texturized, high tenacity nylon 6,6. The yarn is then sent over to Biella, Italy’s wool city, where it is used to create a beautifully chunky and open wool weave. The nylon 6,6 not only makes the fabric more durable and robust, but it also makes it easier to produce an open weave structure that doesn’t collapse on itself. The result is a beautiful mid-weight (220gsm) fabric that feels open to the air on the body yet counterintuitively substantive in the hand.
