A wrng jacket experiment in an open yet tough wool/nylon6,6 fabric.

Fabric

Italian wool expertise twisted up with nylon6,6 performance to create a powerful new fabric. The Open Wool begins with a new yarn that intimately blends a high grade suiting wool with air texturized high tenacity nylon6,6. The yarn is then sent over to Biella, Italy’s wool city, where it is used to create a beautifully chunky and open wool weave. The nylon6,6 not only makes the fabric more durable and robust but it also makes it easier to produce an open weave structure that doesn’t collapse on itself. The result is a beautiful mid-weight (220gsm) fabric that feels open to the air on the body yet counterintuitively substantively in the hand.
