An experimental cowlnecked popover with a subtle pocket made from a densely woven ramie with a crushed texture.

Fabric

A dense and mysterious take on our favorite summer fiber. Unlike most ramie fabrics we use, which tend to be woven or knit with very open structures, the Ramiecrush is woven into a dense crushed crêpe like texture. It loses a little bit of open airflow we’ve come to associate with ramie, and at 240gsm it’s heavier than most summer fabrics too, but it retains the remarkable ability to pull moisture out of the air around you creating a dry body climate in humid conditions. The result is less pure performance than many Outlier fabrics but in it’s place comes a sort of brutal luxury, deep character hiding subtle functionality.
