Story

A long and heavyweight take on a shank jacket. The Duckcloth exterior uses American grown longest staple Supima cotton to elevated a simple cotton canvas into a supple yet tough fabric. A C6 DWR treatment makes it water resistant. The full lining and hood made of Doublefine Merino gives the interior a soft warmth. Two large chest pockets with flap closures sit up top, with an extra side entry pocket hidden under the left side. The front closes with matte black shanks, while a draw cord allows the jacket to be cinched at the waist, just above the two hand pockets. A double cuff keeps the arms securely warm, while two long zippered vents in the rear allow for adjustment and calibration.

Fabric

Cotton duck canvas is a classic workhorse of a fabric we’ve always loved but never seen the need to use. Then we stumbled on a duck like nothing else, woven in Switzerland using beautiful Supima cotton it keeps the tough sturdiness yet has a soft and very wearable handfeel.
The Doublefine 18.9 micron merino is the best natural performance fabric we can find. Merino has the incredible ability to suck moisture into the very core of the fiber. This pulls moisture away from your skin cooling you as you exercise, and allows the fabric to keep breathing if it gets wet. Simple and clean with an elegant drape.

One word of warning though, this stuff is addictive. Once you get a taste of the merino quality it's hard to quit. Luckily its natural properties make it highly odor resistant. You'll find you can get a lot more wear between washes, a good thing, as merino does not come cheap.
